1- Cincy at home truly looked awful losing to Pittsburgh. Burrow had 4 ints and 2 fumbles (1 lost) with 61 rating. Their kicking looked poor under pressure missing a game winning xp and FG later.
Cincy has 2 goto players. Chase- but if Quinn gameplans right and our D comes thru holding him to around 100 (like Pittsburgh did) thats a win. Second is Mixon but he looked human last week with 82 yds on 27 carries (3.0 avg) and 62 thru air.

2- defense is the strength of our team. Pittsburgh managed 7 sacks to go with the 4 ints, 9 TFL , 11 Qhits.
If we can get anywhere near those stats or just put constant pressure on Burrow we could keep Cincy from getting comfortable and keep the score low which our offense needs

3) I didnt really see a drop-off when Rush took over. While Dak seemed off again or just rusty Rush played the off-season and is use to running this team. Hes on par (to me at least) with Trubisky who won. Lambs last 100 yard game was with Rush. Zeke looked ok. If the OL can play an average game I think Rush may come thru.

we wont go 0-17 this year. I see 5-6 wins and think this could be one of them if only because if u saw Cincy last week they looked that bad
we are 7 point underdogs at home (wow) but hold Chase to 100, Mixon to 150 (total), OL average game, I could see a 17-13 win

7 point underdogs at home really says something with Cincinnati's poor performance.

The only way we have a chance is if Jerry pays off the referees to have some penalties go our way,

Their kicker is fine. He was clutch in the postseason last year and wasn't the reason those kicks were missed. Their long-snapper got injured during the game. The tight end trying to fill in delivered two awful snaps on the missed kicks. I suspect they will have found a new long-snapper this week.

As for Burrow, if you're counting on him having 5 turnovers again then good luck. He led them to the SB last year. Last week was not his norm.

Could the Cowboys win? Sure, it's the NFL. But the reasons you're clinging to feel like reaches. To be fair, I don't blame you for reaching after our week one performance.

The smart money is betting on the Bengals, but this is the NFL. Would it be that surprising if the Cowboys had a big day? Two INT game? Turpin gets a special teams touchdown. That’s 14 points.

The Cowboys could add one legit touchdown and a field goal on offense and win this one.

Dak has been playing pretty poorly. I’m not sure that Rush is that much of a dropoff. Doesn’t have the arm talent, but might see the field a bit better.

We could have won if Moore realized they were using 5-7 defenders in the back and Dak was off and just ran the ball.

Bengals kicking game was bad because their long snapper was injured. They had a back up TE snapping the ball.
If not for that, Bengals would have won that game.

Their OL played worse than ours, however Burrow will still get his WR's in the game, it is not like he gets sacked every play. Key is to get to him and cause turnovers as the Steelers did.

I still laugh at all the 5 and 6 win predictions.
sorry Jazz
I called the game and also the score. I stick with the 5-6 wins for this reason-
we have no OC. KM may have the title but is nothing more than an average at best play caller. A true OC runs the offense. KM doesnt/cant. Proof is the OL. Not only has no one asked KM for his thoughts on the OL he wouldnt have any. Same goes for the TE and WR positions.
Quinn runs the defense and is the goto for any questions. people may ask Jerry but Quinn is the final say so. On the offense Jerry calls the shots not KM

both played

utterly shocked honestly. Diggs and the secondary did a great job on easily one of the top 5 WRs in the league and the DL got a lot of pressure.
Rush played really well, looked like we probably would’ve won by more had we ditched Zeke and given pollard most of his Carries.
Seriously we looked like the worst team in the league against Tampa. Quite a turnaround. maybe it was just Dak…?
