not convinced about the talent

What are you not convinced about? The players we have are very talented. We are one of the most talented teams in the entire league. You can have the talent, but if you can't use that talent the best way it should be used, than all that talent is wasted. the blame not only falls back on the coaches, but the players. The Players need to execute. Like Larry said on the ticket, the secondary improved by adding athleticism, now prove it on the field. You got all these accolades, now prove it.

any given sunday....

i have to say there is a little bit more to it than that. i think the Commanders have turned a corner this year. this is a game that, despite playing well, would have probably lost in the 4th quarter last year. however, this year we had a good good time wasting drive to really help us out.

We will see what happens in the coming weeks and in november but the Commanders looked good today. They have built on the last 3 weeks and been better each week.

So lets not write it off as 'any given sunday'

Championship teams dont let the other team take the ball with 10 freaking mins left in the game and drive it the length of the feild.

Why did we bother spending high picks on CBs and bringing in Pac when our corners play 10 freaking yards of the WR every stinking down???

I agree with that 100% Springs doesn't seem to have a problem doing that.

This game wasn't lost by Dallas as much as it was won by Washington. All too often NFL games are lost by poor play with turn over and penalties. Today’s game was close a hard fought by both teams. The Commanders took control in the 4th quarter and ran the ball effectively on the final drive for what turned out to be the game winner. That drive was 12 Plays, 55 Yards, 6:54 off of the clock. There was only 1 pass play on that drive. The time off of the clock was as big as the 3 points the Commanders came away with. While this is a good win for the Commanders, I don't think it is the beginning of the end for Dallas. The NFC East is the best division in football right now. Both teams have 12 games to go including one in Washington. We meet again Nov. 16, 2008. Hail to the Commanders!
