I wish they would too. The NBA and NHL have salary caps but their cap rules are softer, making it easier to make trades as well as making it easier to retain some of your original players. The NFL cap is designed first and foremost to make MORE money for the owners.

This D can be so much better with a big, strong DT in the middle. Sure, DLaw is good, but he's on the end. If ever there was a time to finese a trade, I believe it is now. Someone like A. Hicks can make a significant improvement for a championship run.
