Why we should not blitz Wilson

He has a 120 passer rating against the blitz. I say we rely on the front 4 to get home and drop 7 or 8 and make him beat us with his accuracy. Last game we blitzed slot and he was throwing very short quick throws to beat us.

Bring intense pressure and try to keep him in the pocket. Make him throw early when he's not really ready.......

We should not blitz too often, but it will really depend on how much pressure our front 4 can generate. If they can't generate pressure consistently enough, we can't let him have all day in the pocket either. We are really going to have to vary the looks, stunts and coverages. It's more about confusing and exploiting their OL and keeping contain on Wilson.

I think they would spy rather than blitz and if he goes out of the pocket then the LB/spy would chase.

Someone may need to spy Wilson especially on third down or iui n the redzone. He wants to create a 2 on 1 concept. Like when he rolls out he wants the defender to make a decision either to come and get him or come off of the receiver for him to throw to. He does that all the time. In the redzone they like to cross, or delay so that defenders will not pay attention to certain players and Wilson will run toward the endzone to keep your attention and then the guy that looked like they were going to block is wide open for a pass. They do that all the time. They are very good in the red zone.the boyz need to just always think about Wilson and him putting pressure on them so that he can pass the ball. This is going to be a good game. One thing about Wilson is he will run and if you make him he will run every play and not get tired if you give him a ton of space. Dak needs to do the same thing. If he has a TON of room and that clock is running down he needs to run

His passer rating under pressure drops tremendous though. (I know big suprise) The moral being if you blitz you better get home or come damn close.

I prefer both d tackles pinch to bring the olineman together so Wilson can’t see through the line....we know he can’t see over it
