My biggest concern is being flat after not playing anything that mattered for 3 weeks. If the Boys are on their game, it'll go well. If they come out flat, it could be a problem.

That is about what happened and it was a problem !
The op thought the trend would continue, but the 3 weeks off hurt more than helped.

Yep. Hopefully the coaches have learned each game you should be trying to improve. If you're not improving you're essentially getting worse.

If it's "meaningless" maybe pull guys in the 4th.

At the very least he should've let Dak play longer and Romo finish it out or come close. This would've done wonders for morale.
