When have we ever cared about character issues? (Pac Man Jones/Dez Bryant/TO to name a few).

Ditto and there was no way we would have the ammo to move up and get him.

Someone is going to be a happy camper to get that kid next year.

There's a good chance I would donate a testicle to get Andrew Luck here. But honestly, I don't see anyone trading out of next year's #1 spot to take him. It would take a Herschel Walker-esque trade and then some.

I'm not sure he even has a better arm that Gabbert. And gabbert is better in almost every other part of the game as well.

I guess we'll see though. I do think Newton will be okay down the road for someone. I think Gabbert will be a long time quality starter if he goes to the right place.

I am not even close to being convinced that Newton will be a top 10 pick. Nothing that I have seen from him suggests to me that his skill set translates well into the NFL. He's not a Pro passer, he's not a guy who understands how to play from under the Center, he's not a guy who has shown what could be described as average mechanics, he has questions about his past and there are questions about his ability to lead.

I honestly don't know why people have him ranked in the top 10. I could be entirely wrong here but I don't see it.

But Roethlisberger could throw. Newton, not so much IMO. To me, Gabbert is a much better comparison to Roethlisberger coming out then Newton. JMO.

Apart of me wants Dallas to stay away from Newton and just get Romo back to where he should be. But there is something unsettling about Romo...and I cant really put my finger on it. At least Vick and Young did it for more than 1 college season. I think Cam had a great college season but it was only 1 season. At the top of the draft I want more proof.
