against the Vikes we will play lights out and the focus and concentration will be there, just like the Texans game...and we will come away totally exhausted and lack focus the following Sunday and the season will be over for sure since we will have shown we cannot sustain anything over the course of the season
Peter King on the Herd this morning says the call against Columbo was bush league and that firing Wade is not the answer....the team needs to get the balance of the running game/passing game under control so we can grind out drives and wear the other team down...he says it is sad how we have not used Felix like we could have so far this season
and ....whoever loses this week is basically finished for the season

Cowboys got completely blown out and dominated up front by the Vikes only a few months ago.

This is the team who exposed us last year. The year before other Dlines did it. and the year before and the year before that...but our heralded GM nvr addressed the OLine.

Anyway, 1-4 hear that comming? Get used to the sound of it.

How we respond after 1-4 is the real question.

A lot of people are assuming that we are going to play great against Minnesota the way we did against Houston. With this team you just never know. It would not surprise me if we play well. But who would be surprised if the Cowboys continue the Clown Show that has characterized 2010 up to this point? Oh how I want them to come out fighting on Sunday. But I don't know what to expect and I don't like feeling this way.

Couldn't say it better myself. I was hopeful to start the year, but now I don't know what to make of these guys. They haven't given us fans a whole lot to be optimistic about, that's for sure. It sucks to say, but I don't like this team. Of course I still love the Cowboys, but this specific group of players and coaches? I'm not having fun cheering for them

Oh, and you think the 1-3 Vikings are just like that team that beat us last year? This seems typical of fans - they can imagine that our 1-3 is such a disappointment, yet their 1-3 team is still the same team that made it to the NFC championship game.

They looked good lastnight, no they didn't win but they looked alot better than we have. The Jets are a real football team, the likes of which Dallas has not faced this season.

Great, and we looked good against the Texans. We are both still 1-3.

I think this week's game will come down to who wants it the most. Can Wade get this group together for this week's "turd bowl"? Or will Favre and Co. rebound to send this team to 1-4? At the moment I think that the homefield adavantage of crowd noise will be the deciding factor. The only way I see us taking out the crowd is by getting after the Vikings early and often and finishing drives with points. Maybe the game will end in a tie, I wonder how Wade would spin a 1-3-1 record?

The thing that worries me is the deep pass. If Favre can throw some deep balls and/or jump balls to Moss and he can take advantage we will be in trouble. If we get behind it will be tough to keep Peterson from grinding it out in the second half.

That is a big concern for me as well. Martz really put it on Wade with the deep ball, I also think a healthy Andre Johnson in Houston would have made a difference in that game as well. Ofcoarse, in this past game Vince Young took advantage of the secondary as we all know now. The other concern is AP, as you mentioned. We gave up over a 100 yards rushing in the last two games, I don't know that we can stop the streak, for I see AP getting a 100 yards this week. Thing about AP is that he is so strong in addition to being able to run away from people. Although AP does have a propensity to put the ball on the ground, however, we are weak in forcing fumbles. Combine that with how soft we have been playing, well, it could be a long day for the defense. I hope Mr. Garrett can control TOP in addition to scoring some points in the proccess this week.

Didn't the Eagles expose us in 2008?
