It's unreal. I've never seen anything like it. I'm convinced my 2 year old neice can kick FG's against us.

I was just about to start a similiar thread. It seams as though anytime the opposing team has to kick a meaningul kick and just so happens to 50+ yards you can bank on that field goal being made.

Dont know what the deal is.

the last missed FG against us that I can remember is the philthy botched fg attempt from the 5 yard line on the last play of the game back in like 1997 or 1998 that preserved our win.

i told my wife before he kicked that you might as well count it... one of the tenants of cowboys football- the opposing kicker NEVER misses!

I even thought I seen a gust of win gently carrying the ball for the last 5 yds right over the goal post. :insane:

not just today, but they often don't miss cause we have essentially a lame dome yet we go "budget" on our kickers who cannot take same advantage of our own home stadium which favors kickers. then you have the "choke" factor for these bargain-bin kickers both at home and the road.

Yeah, it's weird... There was an article on CNNSI (or ESPN.. I forget) which mentioned that Dallas opponents have only missed FOUR fg's in the prior 2 seasons... THAT'S TWO MISSES FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON for the past TWO YEARS. The only thing I can think of is that the turf in Texas is easy to kick off of which probably contributes to the gaudy numbers kickers have compiled against Dallas the past two seasons. As for the road games, who knows...

It's actually only four misses in the past three years! All the misses have been from at least 48 yards and two from beyond 50. The last 3 years they are 53 for 57. Unbelievable!
