I thought is was pretty informative, sincere thanks for sharing it.

I found it ironic how it was pointed out that winning super bowls didn't have a direct correlation to how valuable your team is / was. Also ironic how the Cowboy's were used as examples.

I consider myself a fan of the game, but I guess I'm not a real fan because I don't spend any money on the sport other than going to some local college games here and there and I enjoy watching what games I can because I don't spend more money on TV than I have to.

Also it enlightened me to how betting has increased revenue, and how the NFL makes more and more money (lucky for me I don't gamble at all, but it explains all the gambling advertising during the season).

Nothing like having a legal business operation that preys on people's vises.

Didn't care for the Lifelock plug in the middle, but I guess people have to make money somehow bringing you some detailed information online.

Watching a game on TV today and now on the station they have fantasy ratings for the players as well. NO WAY they are putting that crap on TV if they weren't getting money somehow.

Never understood the fantasy league. Is that for a bunch of wanna be players? LOL. I'm old, forgive me...

You made me think about Major League Baseball as I don't watch MLB as I did as a kid (more like listen to my dads team on the radio LOL).

Found it interesting because it helped explained the "fantasy world" of sports and why I couldn't comprehend grown men playing in a fantasy league, gambling. Then I remember the story about Matt Miller losing his arm, and then low and behold, there were complaints about him actually paying people in some kind of fantasy league.
