Cowboys won a ugly game vs the Chiefs... a win is a win IMO

yet I hear no panic over the steelers near blowing another 4th quarter lead this time vs a team in the Lions who has only won 1 game this season and lost ever game last year? why isnt the media all over this

why not gloom and doom in the media about the steelers defense falling apart AGAIN in the 4th... this dates back to the AZ superbowl that the defense got lit up... in the 4th

The league is so close the good team and bad ones are only seperated by a few plays.. shot the steelers just getting by AGAIN should be 10 X the story over the cowboys win over the chiefs

I'm very happy with the win. However, I'm not happy how we got it. It's not that we had to go into overtime to beat the Chiefs by 6. It's the fact that we continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. We had 500 yards of offense, yet we didn't score enough touchdowns. Why? 13 penalties and two turnovers. IF we eliminate that stuff, we'll be competitive with every team we play and we'll find ourselves in the playoffs in January. If not, it's another lost season. It's really that simple.

In tact means no Felix, Williams, Sensabaugh for the game?

Steelers have the hard ware that says they dont need to panic. Cowboys have proven nothing in over a decade.

I was referring to the D side but yeah forgot about Sensabaugh. Still, Sensabaugh just got here, Polamalu is the heart and soul of their D...

Because the media knows Steeler fans don't care what they think.

Do you actually think this team can't eliminate penalties and turn-overs. They haven't done it for 13 years, why start now.

Undisplined coaches + undisplined players = 8-8

because we have not won a playoff game in 13 years and the team has a certain pattern of play that causes fans to think "here we go again".

The pattern is....too many penalties, turnovers that are not forced by a great defensive play but rather are the result of our own sloppy play, letting teams score at the end of the game.

Its not that we almost lost to a bad team, its the manner in which the loss almost occurred.

For whatever reason whatever the cowboys do is never good enough. Everyone seems to find negatives with their wins. Today was ugly, so i'm not saying this win shouldn't be scrutinized, but nothing this team does can be good enough. If we beat the broncos last week people would be talking about how we let them back in it and good teams knock teams out when they have the opponent on the ropes... well the patriots had them down 10 at half today but let them back in it as well.

And people always talk about the steelers d and the ravens d, and how they have playmakers who make plays when it counts... well the steelers let the bengals drive down and win it at the end. And we saw the same thing today with the ravens!

could it be that too many Cowboys fans blow what the media says way the hell out of proportion?

I find it funny that a cowboys game looks almost the same when they play the best teams as it does when they play the worst teams.

Another poster nailed it. It's because we're tired of all the disappointment over the past 13 years. It has gotten old and we do not find poor play acceptable. There's one thing most sports fans don't ever seem to remember. The games are played for US. They're entertainment for the FANS. Without us, professional sports teams do not exist. Because we pay our hard-earned $ to watch our team, to buy team jerseys, shirts, etc., and because we are so heavily invested emotionally in our teams, we absolutely deserve the right to hold them to a certain standard/performance level. However, that will never mean anything until fans speak with their $.

Media- "I don't think the 2009 Cowboys are the best football team in history".

Cowboys fan- "That's BS. Why is the media always hating on us"?
