The title is still ours. People aren't going to forget that the Cowboys are America's Team.
But if the Saints want to wear the title for one night, we're generous and secure enough (5 Super Bowl wins, 8 Super Bowl appearances) to share it.

Is the title really that important?
Its like some fans are looking for an additional reason to root for Dallas.
If Dallas would have never been "America's Team", would you root for them any less?
If the answer is yes, you're a fraud.

media is becoming a joke.....irvin joining the wagon
Endure the last few years? Talk about milking it, 2005 was half a decade ago. Cities like Houston and Pensacola have greater lasting grievance than New Orleans about the aftermath now as crime and unemployment were and are still effected by "refugees" that won't go home or work.tyke1doe;3270276 said:It's simply a sentiment because of what New Orleans has had to endure the past few years.

I havent watched NFL Network religiously over the past 2 weeks, but I did watch the last part of NFL GameDay Final.
The last segment Eisen asked for the guy's predictions for next year's Super Bowl.
When it got to Irvin, he said (and I paraphrase) "They said America's Team was in this year's Super Bowl, and America's Team will return to next year's Super Bowl. And America's Team IS THE Dallas Cowboys"
