Zeke is obviously getting signed to a new contract.

No way can the Cowboys afford to start the season with only 2 RBs, with 1 being a rookie and the other a very old veteran.

Smith is a great story. A former #37 overall pick that finally gets his chance.

He's worked unbelievably hard to come back from tearing the same ACL twice. Very happy for him.

I'm sure the Cowboys like Wilson too, but when would a sixth wide receiver ever play? This had to be a tough decision to make. They probably went with Smith since he can play outside and inside. Wilson is more of a slot option.
