He hasn’t been hobbled with much the past two seasons. He’s only missed one game. Cooper dealt with more ailments than CeeDee.

AI like Michael Vick grew up here in the Hampton Roads area.. AI was a baller at QB.. Legal issues took all his two sport scholarships away.. Georgetown was his only option..

So much for not needing Amari Cooper from Jerry Dumbo GM and Stephen hoghead VP Jones. The Cowboys WR position went from strength to big time weakness.

Cowboys will be back in the market for a veteran WR and Jerry Dumbo GM Jones only got it right one time which was the player he traded away.

I had not heard of Washington and a “ walking “ boot ? What’s the deal . Was it a fashion statement or a concern to the medical staff ?

Despite the nagging lower body injuries Amari played and played well in most of those games. What’s clear is the Cowboys didn’t want him under his current contract. We’ll see if they end up regretting it. He led our WR group against San Francisco with 6 catches for 64 yards and one TD. Cedrick Wilson was our second leading WR in the game. Both Wilson and Amari led the team with 10 targets in that game. Neither are here anymore and the WR we’re going to be counting on only had one catch in that game.

According to what’s out there the Cowboys attempted to negotiate an affordable deal with him. All this talk about the Cowboys not wanting him is BS! He played well in a lot of games last season despite playing with some nagging injuries. He made some huge plays that helped us win games. He made Cooper Rush look like a viable QB against Minnesota. Amari put up 122 yards against Minnesota and a touchdown with a backup QB making their first start. Producing 64 yards against San Francisco was pretty good considering his QB was being harassed constantly and sacked 5 times. Plus he was never being utilized to his full potential all season. The receiver that’s going to replace him only had one measly catch and another drop. Amari was a terrific player for us and don’t be surprised if moving on from him comes back to bite us big time.
