I think we might be able to upgrade with castoffs from other teams. New England and the Texans are both stocked. Bethel Johnson and Swinton are two I have my eye on. Any other teams loaded at the position?

Price may be released. At the right Price (sorry lol), he would be a good pick up. He hasnt done anytihng in 2 years in Atlanta, so I can't imagine he could ask for that much. Sometihng tells me we may just go into the season with TG, KJ, PC, and QM(for better or for worse)

why try and upgrade? even if we brought in a good younger wr with speed he'd still have to sit behind kj and glenn.

Our return game needs upgrading and we need some quality youth and depth at the position.

peter warrick might get the axe in cincy... he would be a great #3 WR and a huge upgrade in the return game.

I like Price but I don't think he would come here to be number 4. Also, I don't think he plays much ST.

Actually, I'm quite excited about Crayton as our number three guy. I want to see what he can do.

Yuck and yuck. Not only that, Swinton = been there done that. If we want to upgrade our WR situation, we need to bring in a dynamic #1 guy who is of the new breed WR's. Big, strong and fast. Chad Johnson, Tory Holt, Marvin Harrison types. Guys who create mismatches. The only scraps we will be able to pick up after the final cuts are complimentary guys who are #3 types at best. They wouldn't be interested in coming here looking at our depth chart. The short story here is swapping our #4 or #5 WR's from some other team for our current #4 or #5 WR isn't what I would call upgrading at all.

I have a better chance of landing on the moon than Glenn and KJ do of making it through the season without missing time. KJ's already hurt for heaven's sakes.

If 100% healthy, Warrick is excellent.

I'd like to see Doug Gabriel cut by OAK also but it won't happen.

Keyshawn is hurt? Haven't read that anywhere.

Anybody else?

Swinton = been there done that.

True...but I think he was a guy BP didn't really want to cut. I'd take him in a heart beat. He's a solid #4 & Kick returner.

Me too. If we could get Price on the cheap, perhaps, but I'm with you. I think Crayton is going to be one of those very nice surprises that seems to elude this team on a regular basis.
