Wife gets 4 years in 'death by exercise' case

CHARDON, Ohio — A transgender woman has been sentenced in Ohio to four years in prison for killing her frail husband by forcing him to exercise.

Forty-one-year-old Chris Mason was sentenced today in Geauga County Common Pleas Court for reckless homicide in the death of 73-year-old James Mason. She pleaded guilty earlier and could have gotten five years at sentencing.

Mason’s voice quivered as she tearfully apologized for the June death of her husband, who had heart problems. A surveillance camera caught Mason forcing her husband around in the pool.

Chris Mason also goes by Christine Newton-John, the name she took after her 1993 sex change.

I actually saw the video for this. The poor old man was fighting for his life and tried to get out of the pool several times but he/she kept dragging him back into the pool. What's messed up is his/her mother was by the pool side the entire time watching the whole thing.

I am assuming he/she killed him for the money. If you have money, couldn't you find something a little more attractive than that? She looks like she should be in a rocking chair in the Bates Motel.
