Not a bad idea. Have no idea whom it will be but have called for a spy.

When you say PAIN, it must be spoken like Mr. T says it

Sounds good, but when is the last time you saw him take a big hit on a scramble? He gets out of bounds or slides before taking those hits so that opportunity will probably never arise

Put him with Lee in our nickel and dime packages. Have him spy from the middle of the field and inflict PAIN on Rodgers when he scrambles. I don't fear GB running on us out of their passing personnell formations.

Your welcome.
Good thinking. We'll call up Garrett and the coaching staff and let them know what you said, not that it'll matter but...

QBs scramble against Man coverage a lot more

If we are in that 3-2-6 more DBs are facing the QB instead of turning and running.....there should be a lot fewer opps......plus we have to pressure to begin with

No thank you. He is notorious for taking bad angles. Leave him in the middle laying the wood on Cobb, Adams, and Cook.
Wilcox has been much better this season and has not had huge problems with angles. I'm fairly certain dumping the old DB coach and adding a new assistant DB coach has made most of the difference. The odd thing is that he was his absolute worst this preseason. I thought he had regressed but now I think they must have had him relearning to play the position their way.

What a shame, Jaylon Smith would have been the perfect spy.
I think Lee would be better as the spy because Jaylon projects to be an elite coverage LB. Making him the spy would reduce his coverage responsibilities.

If they were in Dime, then they would have to decide between Lee and Jaylon being on the field; although, they would likely just stay in Nickel because Jaylon could be better in coverage than some DBs like Wilcox.

I don't know, kinda hoping Wilcox knocks out one of their WRs when they go across the middle. Maybe the TE Cook?

I agree. He looks like a different player this year.

Lol. Jaylon would murder Rodgers. If we were able to add a talent like that right now, the Packers would go from having a little bit of a chance to none.

All Green Bay has is Aaron Rodgers. That's it. Their oline, running game, run defense and pass defense are awful. The only way we lose is if we are rusty and don't shake it off until too late in the game. If we are not rusty, Green Bay has no chance tomorrow.
