I think the betting odds have shifted to Lamar getting MVP (which makes sense because his numbers would put him at one of the top 3 QB MVP years ever). Basically when Lamar got that first team all pro by the same voters who vote for MVP the odds shifted to Lamar being MVP.

Maybe, and Lamar has played great. Both of these guys carry their teams on their backs. This year I felt that was far more the case in Allen's situation than Lamar's. Both have had struggles in the playoffs. Allen seems to be snakebit by kickers and Mahomes.

Ravens/Steelers game was a mirror image of the game Dallas plated against Bal this year. QB can't move the ball in the first half, defense left exposed, game is over by halftime. Then Bal lifts foot off the pedal in the second half and miraculously the QB starts to move the ball and gets to pad his stats a little and make it look better than it really was.

Hmmm funny, Reid was in KC how long before Mahomes got there and they won what exactly? Reid was seen as nothing but a playoff choke artist until Mahomes came along. To downplay Mahomes and just say he's a product of a franchise (who hasn't won a thing since the 60s) is pretty hilarious. Since Mahomes has took over as the starter, has been to 6 straight AFC title games and 4 Super Bowls. 3 rings in 6 seasons.

so strange...they schedule Houston at 430 and Baltimore at night. NFL doesnt care about fans. Guarantee its warmer in Baltimore around 6pm than it will be at 10pm.

I just wanna chime in and take a shot at a good look at what a $16,000,000 non quarterback winning 61 year old much coveted by the Dallas Cowboys fan base coach looks like paired up with a $52.5 million quarterback who most say are better than Prescott and would rather have those two here together so they can do what I just wanna make sure anybody who saw that game saw that's what that looks like that money doesn't buy everything the highest paid coaches paired with other quarterbacks who are also making in the same range as Prescott I guess the expectations are different 'cause I don't feel that energy when I'm listening to ESPN or social media it's not the same energy the anti DAC anti Mike McCarthy pair not the same the energy on them is asked if they are being unfairly judged..

Oh and I wanna add in this too for the anti -Parsons people ,

yes I'm taking my shots and I'm not going to have a long debate about it I'm telling you that this is how it works in the NFL they overpay quarterbacks and coaches just because Jerry doesn't always overpay his free agents or his head coaches doesn't mean there's a guarantee if you do you're going to win because everybody was overhyping Jim Harbaugh I mean the guys never won a Super Bowl yes he's a very good coach but is he $12 million better than Mike McCarthy I doubt that so we want Jerry to overpay even if the results are not going to be better because that's typically what i'm seeing.....

but this is funny the other playoff tidbit on dont pay Parsons..TJ makes 30-35mil per...hmmm oh by the way since we're on the Steelers and the playoff games from yesterday Mike Tomlin also makes $16,000,000 he's lost seven straight playoff games... I just wanted to make sure we're on the same page when we're using energy to RIP our own people I wanted to just bring this in since this thread was started already... yee haw

Philly ”get their ***** kicked” they likely move on from Sirianni and become the most coveted open head coach position. Wouldn’t you rather have the Eagles stuck with Sirianni until the top head coach prospects are hired by other teams?

Here I found another one let me add in the fact that Mayo only makes 4.6 million and he has a rookie quarterback so money doesn't correlate into wins but they've now won two straight playoff games they're in the second round two straight years So what you pay your quarterback and your head coach I've just given you both sides of the coin it doesn't matter there's no blueprint but Jerry's cheap so he only pays Mike McCarthy about the same money they're paying Mayo does it really matter I mean it doesn't matter I just showed you above where you have a we're paid quarterback doing less than that and a overpaid defensive end and overpaid head coach that are not doing anything in the playoffs so this is not a Dallas cowboy issue this is just the way it works and yes this is all relevant even though I'm giving you different information these are games that happened yesterday these are people on those teams, I just want to make sure I'm making good comps bringing it to your attention because I have to hear all the garbage that spews from this place about Jerry Jones and what he pays his players and coaches...
