Seems to me the last red flag guy we signed was Hardy and there was a healthy majority on his board who approved and wanted the signing.

I was on board and he was a headcase. The team was smart enough to give him a team friendly deal they could easily get out of and failed to do so when it was obvious the season was over and they had no desire to keep him long term. I think they were hoping to land a comp pick for him so they held onto him for the entire season, but his attitude made him untouchable.
