What people are trying to say is, yes the draft is the way to go BUT you are not going to plug all of your needs in a draft. You are going to have to spend a little in FA to get over the hump. Plus like in this draft with 10 picks, the only way all of those guys makes the team is you have a bad team to begin with and if they do you had a bad roster of players.

Can you provide an example of a free agent the fan base cries about Jerry overpaying?
