yea and He fumbled half the time he was returning kicks.

You must use some type of different math than the rest of the world...
for some reason 57 returns with only 2 fumbles doesn't equal up to half for me. Am I doing something wrong?

hmmm....like several posters said, we need to see the personnel that Parcells assembles this offseason before we can even make an educated guess.

As for P-T - good post. Glad to see that some eagirls fans are actually football fans and can speak with civilty towards a division foe on their boards. I have been impressed with your posts in the past. never derogitory or presumptious. Good job and your welcome at the board any time P-T.

As for the guys that dont like the conservative approach. WHats the alternative. Open it up wide open. Tell you what. Build a car engine and the first time you complete it, put it in and start it up and gun it. See how many rods fly out and how many rings you blow and end up with 1200 dollars of junk. You have to play conservative if your only average at best. Play ground control and the occasional long shot. But you cant play Indy ball with the Cowboys line. Man, Bledsoe would be sacked 13.5 times a game. I dont know what you guys were expecting, but it was not realistic to say the least, I mean have you seen the oline lately. You wanna call a play that calls for Bledsoe to hold the ball for 4.5 seconds to give glenn time to cut and wiggle. Bledsoe has 1.8 seconds max to get rid of the ball. It will never work your way with our current personnel.

Will the Cowboys be any better next year. My guess is no! I say this because in my opinion this team will not change with Bledsoe at QB. Although Bledsoe was not the real problem this year. He does not give us the edge at QB we need to be a difference maker. BP has got to find speed on this offense and special teams. We just got to find a real punt returner and kickoff returner. We just got to have scoring from the special teams in games on the road.

This will be a long offseason.
I bet alot of people felt the same way about Plummer.

:laugh2: Thanks for the thoughts.

I can't help but laugh either... with the TREMENDOUS improvement we made from BP year 2 to this season.. people still are blind enough to see the team getting WORSE than BETTER.

I mean.. 6-10 playing weak opponents (5 teams with above .500 record, 3 teams with 10 or more wins) to 9-7 playing a tougher schedule (7 teams with above .500 record, 6 teams with 10 or more wins)
