Will a losing season hurt DWare

If the cowboys have a losing season. Will JJ use this as a reason not to pay Ware?

Come on.. sure he doesn't have a sack, but it's not like he's played crappy. He's still making plays, commanding double teams, and causing disruption.. I'd like to know how many QB pressures he has, he's been one step away numerous amounts of times.

Not to mention, he had a concussion at the beginning of the Tampa Bay game.

And he's not really getting double teamed. The most he's getting is chipped by the TE or FB...and that's nothing more than he saw all last year.

Depends on how many sacks he gets, if Ware ends the year with 5 sacks, yes Jerry will lowball him, but if Ware gets around 12 or more JJ will have to pony up.... then again it depends on the new bargaining agreement also.....

So by that logic, every great pass rusher has had another good pass rusher on the other end? Who was there at the beginning of Freeney's career? Julius Peppers? Jason Taylor? Bruce Smith? Simeon Rice?

When you have a guy like Spencer who can get shut down with one blocker, Ware is going to get triple teamed. Sorry, but not even Ware can beat that.

Spencer has been making just as many plays as Ware...and Ware hasn't seen anything close to a triple team.

Ware needs to be held accountable just like every other guy on this team...if not more so because he is supposed to be the best in the whole league.

Except for the Bucs game I think Specer definitely been more than just okay in run support. His pass rush isn't to where I want it to be but then again neither is pretty much anybody elses so while we're at it so let's call them out too. Quite frankly if I'm being completely honest and I know it's sacrilege but D. Ware's play has disappointed me just as much as anybody's. We've come to expect no-show performances from many of these guys on D so that's of no surprise to me but the one constant has always been D. Ware except for these last 2 games.

Spencer has been in the backfield. The QB just side steps him though. I'm not gonna hit the panic switch yet. I think it's just a matter of conditioning. A lot of top defenses haven't played up to par during the first 1-2 weeks of the season.

It depends on his season totals. If Ware has less than 10 sacks on the year, he can forget about $100 million contract.

He will probably get franchised at the end of the year, thats my best guess as to what will happen.

Cowboys need a true Nose Tackle. In order for Ware and Spencer to be more productive you will need one of the main ingredients for this 3-4 formula to work which is a, nose tackle. Someone like Shaun Rogers that cause havoc on the run and pass would be perfect with Ratliff and Oglanski on the outside along with the linebackers, we will be a dominant defense.
