Will anybody lay wood on Murray?

Not sure but Wilber was hitting him like Harris owed him money or stole his girlfriend.

Talkin Cowboys was asked a similar question a couple days ago. Nate Newton basically said, they will be friendly before the game but once the game starts, the team will be looking to hit him. They never had a chance to hit him when he was with the Cowboys. I know when I played football, I didn't "take it easy" on someone just because they are a friend, if anything it makes you want to hit them harder because it is fun. I expect clean hits but more authority.

Think back when Emmitt was with the Cardinals, that Cowboys team probably looked up to him but I remember Emmitt getting rocked at points when he played us.

Smith lost 4 yards on his first carry and finished with minus-1,
the worst outing of his career. He was pounded nearly every time he
got the ball and was knocked out early in the second quarter with a
sprained left shoulder.

If Rolando was playing I imagine he would be living in Demarcos world for the game, sadly...

And Dwayne Harris has no friends? The team was laying the wood on him this past Sunday. Maybe it was just me but I felt like they were hitting him more than "just another guy".

I can't speak for Harris, but several players have come out and stated publicly that they are still friends with Murray and still talk to him.

I suspect the extra focus on special teams was more about fixing their poor results during pre-season than inflicting some sort of extra/revenge punishment. Then again, we see what we want to see.

With Ro Mac out, do we even have anyone that hits hard enough to lay Murry out? He is still a bull. I would rather try to take advantage of Murrys careless carrying and strip the ball out of his hands. If anything lay the wood on Sproles and Bradford.

It's not revenge, it's football...it's a little "love tap".

As I stated in one of my posts, it is more fun to hit someone you know, it's more competitive. I'm not talking about dirty hits.

If you mean, "light the traitor up," I don't think anyone will.

If you mean, "pound the birdy with the ball," I think they all will.

Not just Murray but don't forget Miles Austin will be playing the Cowboys for the first time as well. I definitely see some unsportsmanlike flags getting tossed around. These two teams don't like each other and neither do the fan bases.

The only people who care about "laying the wood" on a former teammate? Some fans.
