With it looking more evident that we're running away with the NFC East division title, if we beat the Saints next week @ Dallas we will have put ourselves in great posistion for a 1st round bye.

With our last two games against the Eagirls and Lions do you think Parcells will rest the key players and not risk them of injury, if we clinch a first round bye by that time?

And if so, will we see Bledsoe back under center again? Or will his pride just tell him to stay on the bench? Will this be our chance of seeing Matt Baker being activated from the PS?

Parcells has said in the past he doesn't rest players.

There won't be any rest, Dallas still has some tough games on the schedule and it's not like they're 10-2 with a perferct conference and divisional record...

Bingo. We need to keep playing to win, and not rest players. If we win out, we could be looking at the #2 seed.

No reason to drive right back into the same rut it took so long to get out of.

With our poor conference record, we're going to need to win every game to get a first round bye.

We sit no one!

romo has started only 6 games. what room does he have to rest?

First of all, Tony Romo still has things to accomplish. So sitting him is counter productive.

Second, we're in the running for a 1st round bye. You don't flush that down the drain.

Third, it could mess up the timing and chemistry to go backwards. The team is in full throttle mode, dialing it down is not an option.

Fourth, I seriously doubt Drew Bledsoe ever takes another snap unless Romo gets injured. Not just here, for his career.

In other words, not only no, hell no.

Wins are all that matters now. Romo stays in and plays every down until the game is absolutely in the bag. Bledsoe will play only in severe mop-up duty (ie 30 pt blowouts).

he's rested for the past three years. Time to pin his ears back and let him play.

You only rest your starters if they are hurting and playing hurt...you don't actually let them "rest"...you let them "heal". Otherwise, it is always better to play and stay sharp.
