Will Choice ask for a trade once the season is over?

He's been a great team player, but you can tell he wants to be out there pretty bad. I believe he has what it takes to be an excellent full-time RB in the NFL. If he demands a trade, will Jerry give in? What if he is offered a first-rounder?

If it was me, I'd hold on to Choice till the end of his contract and then let BARBER go.

No, he won't. He will probably ask to get some more action on the field, but he isn't the type of player to demand a trade.

Did Choice ever gave ANY indication of wanting to be traded?

Choice is not going to ask for a trade. We're in a tough spot, because I think we'd probably be better off in the future with Choice as the starter and Felix as his change of pace, but Barber is only 26 so unless he gets hurt he hasn't really done anything to lose his job.

I know some people think Barber isn't playing up to his normal level this year, myself included, but he still averaged 4.4 a carry and scored 7 tds. I just don't see Choice as a guy who would demand a trade. Now if we let him get to free agency without ever giving him a chance to start, then I'm sure he's going to try to go to a team where he can play, but only time will tell what will happen. For all we know he'll be so good in camp and preseason next year he'll take snaps away from Barber. You just don't know.

If someone offered a 1st for Choice he would be gone. No one is going to offer a first round pick for Choice. :p:

I doubt it, but so what if he does? We dont have to trade him.

On the other hand, if somebody desperate for a RB offers a pick in the middle part of the first round or so for him, I'd be all ears. I like the guys upside, but if you can get a middle first round pick for your 3rd string RB, thats a potentially great deal for everyone involved.

Now PREFERABLY you'd trade Barber, but I think he has little, if any trade value due to his level of play the past two seasons and his contract.

Choice wants to play but he is also a big team guy, I can't see him asking for a trade. I think Garrett has to find a way next year to balance the RB workload 3-ways.

Choice doesn't get alot of carries, but he does get some playing time.

I see him in alot of third down passing plays.

I don't think Red will ever call enough runs for all three of our backs to get adequate looks on a regular basis.

Tashard Choice deserves more carries.

Some of you really think a team would give a middle 1st round pick for Tashard Choice? lol
Man I love the guy's character and he's a good running back but hell....lol
Think titans would go ahead and trade Choice for Chris Johnson then? Cowboys could throw in Carpenter or Proctor
~CJ/Felix tandem!

CHAMPIONSHIP!

I wouldn't be so sure if I was you. Didn't somebody offer us a first-rounder for M. Bennett?

I really don't know why they don't play him more. Forget who is better or what not or who should be starting because we can argue that all day but by playing him more, other backs will benefit and stay fresher. Especially Barber for the closer role. And the added benefit will be that Choice's trade value will go up come draft day because other teams can see that this guy can really play.

I've only heard about the Bengals offering a 2.

If a first was on the table, I don't think Tellus would be a Cowboy.

As for running backs, it's such an easy position to find a starter for and TC has such a limited body of work, I can't see anyone even entertaining the idea of surrendering a 1 to obtain him (we'd do it).

C'mon man. Aside from the fact Bennett is basically an elite "build" of a TE with the size and speed etc. he was also drafted in the 2nd round, not the 4th if I remember correctly.

Do you see a team paying TChoice to start next year on an elite RB salary? That should tell you.

I hate sounding like the bad guy because I really do like Choice, he's great to have on the team but a first is a bit out there.:
