I was disappointed with Gallup last year but he was coming off of an injury. I look for him to thrive this year with teams having to concentrate on Cooks and Lamb.
He wasn't coming off an injury. He was still injured and got rushed back too soon. It was obvious.

I agree with you. Now healthy, he will be back to his normal self and will do well this season.

Teams that try to defend him with a lesser CB will pay the price for that decision. But that's the mismatch we can now generate with Lamb and Cooks.

Gallop needs give up number considering he sucks lol. Hopefully can cut him after this season. Too slow and horrible at running routes.
If he doesn’t get that step back he’s definitely gone.

Now that Cooks has been acquired so you think it will be an all out battle to the death for #13 with Gallup?
No, it's Gallup's number. All Cooks can do is ask if they can work something out, but Cooks may not even care to do that. He's only worn 13 three years in his career.

The players usually resolve the jersey number thing straight away, and without ballyhoo -- especially when there's no superstar or longtime veteran on one team involved.
Cooks probably contacted the equipment manager already to see what is available for him to choose to wear.
The only # that counts is the $ # on your direct deposit.

Shouldn't he ask Gallup that? He ringless like most on the team.

He has gone over 1000 yards in 6 of his 9 years in the NFL. I am shaking my head at so many here. Cooks is very good and will upgrade that receiver core.
I never said he wouldnt help.... but he aint coming in demanding Gallup give up his number.
