I think due to Romo's broken pinkie, Roy Williams addition and Pacman's suspension, we forgot somebody.

He's on his way of tying an NFL record for consecutive sacks in a game. Stretching back from the end of last year and into this year, Ware has a sack in nine consecutive games.

Will D. Ware Tie The Record Tomorrow ?

I have NO Doubt.

Get Ready Zoners.... Ware is going to bring it come Sunday....

I don't think it's the NFL record, I think it is the Cowboys record and he will still be one game short of Harvey Martin's record of 11 straight games.

I think he ties it tomorrow... but breaking it will be much tougher. Jeff Garcia has only been sacked 2 times this year in his 3 games, and 0 in his last 2.

Well the NFL didn't start keeping records of sacks until 1982, Harvey Martin holds the record for the Cowboys at 11 games 1976-1977.

Right, and he is at 9 straight games I believe, so tomorrow would not tie the record.

The "official" NFL record is 10, though. Martin's 11 isn't recognized since it happened before '82.

Of course, if they looked back at the game-tapes and counted up all the sacks, Deacon Jones would probably have a pretty long streak at some point of his career...

Most Consecutive Games, Sack

10 Simon Fletcher, Denver, Nov. 15, 1992-Sept. 20, 1993

9 Bruce Smith, Buffalo, Nov. 16, 1986-Oct. 25, 1987
9 Kevin Greene, San Francisco-Carolina, Dec. 7, 1997-Oct. 18, 1998

8 By many players

Okay.

Yes, he will tie it and not have just one either.

DeMarcus Ware will be defensive player of the week:

2.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery.

Ware needs to have a signature game where he is unblockable... When is the last time he's had a multiple sack game with a few forced fumbles?

Here's what will play a big factor tomorrow... the scoreboard. If we're not scoring points with Brad at the helm, the Rams will likely try to be much more conservative in their offensive approach.

We need to shut down the run to force the Rams to pass, then beat the crap out of Bulger (not to win the game or anything, just solely for the purpose of Ware tying the record. :D ) Assuming we don't light it up offensively, in which case the Rams would be passing regardless.

Carolina when he was a rookie. Its the only time he's done that I think.

Yes he will because I feel this is the week that he has a multiple sack game. I'm looking forward to him possibly nailing down 3 sacks this week.

He's gotten very lucky the last few games extending the streak.

I'll say yes, but I hope he can get a sack or two early in the game instead of with 2mins left.
