Have to wonder if his injury will require him to change how he plays. Most injuries continue to be painful and restrict movement no matter how well they heal.

will he be injury prone now?

hope not.

I don't think the injury will have any effect to be honest. Maybe he runs a little less. And I think physically he will definitely be 100%. By all accounts he is on target for full recovery and is working out with the team. There is still 3+ months to training camp. Non issue.

He'll be as if it never happened. Sports medicine has come a long way and he has access to the very best. The way he has been rehabbing, he will be better than ever.

He isn't a running back, receiver, TE or any player that runs and changes direction constantly. Dak usually does a good job of running and avoiding hits but at times he would not go down to get the first down. Just needs to slide more when he takes off.
The way he gets chased when the O-line can't protect him, I say you are wrong about him not being a player that runs and changes direction constantly. Also, in previous years he has had his fair of plays where he holds the ball and runs. I'll be curious to see if those plays get minimized. I hope not because it's a good option to have in the bag of tricks.

I think now that the NYG tackler came down on the back of his lower right leg with force and full weight I expect all his bones to start breaking. Surely now his whole body structure is weakened substantially from that tackle and the resulting fracture.

sheesh !!!!!!!!!

Knowing the type of player DAK is I expect him to run off the back lower his shoulder take a little contact to mentally shake that injury off he shouldn’t run more he shouldn’t run less it was a freak injury honestly he will be fine

We dont have the info needed to make a good call on that lol.

I think he will be leary of any possible hit to his leg ankle that he hurt.
That is why they said he wont be a bull anymore, meaning hopefully he learns to slide in TC lol, and run Out of bounds, and just go down
avoid any hits period, and dont call run option plays except inside the 10 do a qb draw.

I dont think he will be 100%, because he hasnt played in a year, and it takes time to get back into a groove, especially with passing.
practice he may look good, but live action in a game where guys want to slam him to ground, is totally different.

Physically he maybe will be 95%, I personally think it takes more time for that type injury to totally heal up.
playing running on it is one thing, being totally healed is another.
But all that said he can play and if careful can avoid any injury's.
