No.

He's mentally broken from the injury.

He's not even drafted in 2016 without his rushing numbers and ability to run that he showed in college. The one thing that was a major reason he even got a chance in the NFL is now the one thing he's terrified to use.

Dak in 2016-2020 would have ran for 3 yards on 3rd and 2. Dak in 2021 tries to fit a ball into a tight window to Noah Brown.

Just wondering.

If it walks like a Gimp, looks like a Gimp, smells like a Gimp..... it's a GIMP!!!!!

P.S. And here's the cherry on the cake.....no way he has the arm or pocket talents to be a Manning or Marino so I guess mediocrity was here and will continue to hang around for years to come!

Probably not. That ankle injury definitely took a hit on his psyche. He may not be doing it on purpose, but that fear of injuring it again is there and preventing him from running the ball ever again.

Dak is the perfect face for this mediocre franchise. 30 years of mediocrity while delusional cowboy fans are stuck in the past wetting themselves thinking about the blue star while a franchise like the patriots redefine excellence.

That bootleg around the edges was a big threat to defenses. Now defenses scheme to keep Dak in the pocket. Right where they want him.
Then what?
A screen or check-down or in the flat pass or a 5-yard post to the TE.....Jeez, 160 million simply isn't worth what it used to be!!!

Look at the bright side,

At least you're not the fool that paid 160 million for something that needs a lot of things around it to work perfectly before you can get anywhere near what you paid for.

He will have to. Not sure if the calf injury is still a problem or the ankle. He was running in camps. He can run. He ran for a TD against the falcons. Had a huge smile on his face. He has ran with it a few times this season. But very few. Was a big part of his game going back to college. Maybe the staff is holding him back. After the run in the falcons game I know the staff didn’t like it and Elliot said he should have flipped it to me. Does it take the ankle longer to heal than the time that’s went by. Teams have figured he likely won’t run so they will bring the house and force him to throw..

Dallas has to get back to running the ball again. It’s our only hope.

Dak with a lead might be as good as some of these delusional people on this board think he is.

It’s when he faces adversity or is called upon to need a good performance from start to finish is when he screws us over.

He is getting caught from behind by defensive linemen. I am not sure wanting to run is the only problem. I wish he was a little quicker then running would be a big threat like it used to be. Even with all the man coverage the Cowboys have been seeing Dak has not been able to run.

When facing a team with a good front 4 running the ball is simply NOT an option.
Then what??????????????????????????????????????????????????????
This is probably the most boring, predictable offense the Cowboys have ever had.....

Man look at KC.. We would’ve been better off not letting Dak throw a single pass that day.

Unless we establish the run Dak’s gonna be mediocre. He’s going to pad his stats late in the game but the only way to bring out the mvp Level of play we saw before Denver is through other players. All Dak can do is be as good as the system because he’s a system Quarterback.
