There is no doubt we will do some trading.

We aren't going to take 11 players in this draft.

Do you guys think we will move up in the 2nd round of the draft?

Just how much I wonder does Dallas secretly like Delmas.

I think it depend if Delmas or Nicks are still there. If they are still there at 35-40 for some odd reason than ya I can see them doing that. Only for a few players though. They obviously won't reach.

I can see us trading up, and giving up picks in a trade down to pick up picks in future drafts

I think when it's all said and done, we'll draft 7 or 8 players, maybe trim it down to even 5 or 6, instead of 11

wouldn't surprise me if we come out of the draft w/ a veteran player at the expense of a couple picks

What he is saying is he think we will trade for a veteran player and for exchange of the player we will send draft picks to the other team

 smart***

I think we will, just maybe not in the 2nd. I see us maybe packaging alot of those 3s, 4s, 5s, and 6s to move up maybe a round or two.

I dont see us drafting 11 guys either, there are not that many roster spots available, seriously.

I think we will do a slight trade up for Robiske. I hear we are in love with the guy.

I've heard a lot of teams like him more than they are leading on.

Some have even used the word "special" when describing him.

There are a lot of interesting receivers and safeties in this draft.

Trade up for a top safety or an olineman and maybe for hakeem nicks.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if we trade up there's no way in hell we draft 11 kids, we only have so many roster spots open. Trading up at some point is a near certainly.

Knowing Jerry we'll trade into next year's draft.

Given that Dallas traded their 1 & 3 for Roy Williams, how wise would it be to draft someone like Robiskie in the 2nd?

The 2009 draft would basically look like this:

RD1- WR Roy Williams
RD2- WR Brian Robiskie
RD3- WR Roy Williams

Roy probably can't get it done so it seems to be pretty wise.

It would be great if we could get Robiskie in the second round, but he will probably be gone by that pick.

Dallas should consider packaging the 2nd and a later round (7th) to move up to get him.

We need to hit on our 2nd round selection this year.

I do think we will trade up for Robiskie, Nicks, or Delmas. Of course, there will be a few players that fall that we didn't expect to be around.

Answer to question, yeah I think we trade up. And not just in the 2nd rd. They'll move up a few different times I think.

And its no big secret they supposedly like Delmas. Several reporters (Mosley too, who seems right every yr) say they love him.

I don't think anyone should be surprised if the Cowboys move up.

I'll be a little bit of a contrarian though and say that I'm not sure they need to; at least, not in the second round. I think if Dallas stays exactly where they are, there should be a very good safety, receiver, or linebacker prospect that slips.
