Will Drew be back if Parcells leaves?

Bledson isn't going anywhere nor is Parcells. ESPN's Mortenson started this whole mess & others followed cause anything to do w/Cowboys & Parcells is news & our poor play against the Skins fueled it. Parcells lots "these kids" and won't leave them. He and JJ know 2-3 changes/additions to offense & 2 changes/additions to defense (OLB & FS) plus a PK will make us a legit SB contender assuming "these kids" all improve play in 07 after offseason weight conditioning program will physically strengthen them & their endurance. These kids have gained valuable experience by playing so extensively in their first year (Spears, Canty, Ware, Barber & Riveria as well as Ratliff before injury & even Burnett was improving) & participating in offseasonal weight conditioning program should significantly improve their strength & endurance. Also who knows how much Thompson, Pepper Johnson & Beriault will also bring to the team in 06 along with the new young kids we draft. No way will Parcells leave so another coach gets benefit of what he putting together.
 
Jerry Jones is quite happy with the play of Drew Bledsoe and has stated so many times.

If by some fluke Parcells leaves I don't look for Jerry to make a QB change.
 
I thought Bill and Mortenson were good friends and he had all the scoops on Bill? I wouldn't think it's too far-fetched for Bill to leave. He's done it everywhere else.

I don't think Drew will leave whether Bill does or not. He's a big improvement over what we've had these last few years.

I think it has something to do with TO. I'll bet Parcells told Jones that if he signed TO, he would retire.
 
Bledsoe AND Parcells will sign 2 year contract extentsions in the off-season..

Bledsoe will be our QB and Parcells our coach through the 2008 Season....

Without question. Bledsoe has earned Jerry Jones respect. And if Parcells for some reason does leave, which I doubt. Jerry will either prep Romo or Henson, or may just tell Jeff Ireland to find the next Troy Aikman in the draft and let the kid learn under Bledsoe for one year, much like Carson Palmer did in Cincy.

Heck, I think I like the scenario I just laid out. :cool:
 
Bp aint goin anywhere, Mortenson made that stupid rumor becuase he wanted attention, BP isnt leaving, nor is Drew Bledsoe

If we go 10-6 this season, that will be two 10-6 seasons in the past three years, why would we get rid of Parcells, and a QB that has been reasonably good all season, Hell Drew is better than any other QB we've had since Aikman retired!!!!!!

I hope they both resign, but we need to draft another young QB.
 
Don't forget, last year Drew's Buffalo Bills were 9-6 and a shot at the playoffs (not guaranteed). They lost to Pittsburghs 2nd stringers in a really sloppy game featuring drops, missed FGs and inopportune defensive "stands". After the loss the Jets (who had to win if Buffalo won) went on to lose, but they clinched once the Bills lost. Would they have still folded in OT if it was do or die? Anyhow, Drew was cut as you know. I hope it doesn't happen again.

Would be the STUPIDIST move by Jerry if it did...

NO way.....

Bledsoe is our QB for the near future and I highly suspect Parcells will be extended as well!
 
If BP leaves, I say Drew stays but will have competition thru (a drafted QB) but I say Keyshawn leaves it BP leaves.
