Seems as though Mr. Finnegan's history is making attempts to get under the skin of the WR he's covering. Dez is highly emotional person and this looks to be a colorful matchup.

I think the odds are against him being ejected even though he's a bigmouth trash talker and likes to provoke his opponents into doing something stupid. We can be sure Dez has been cautioned not to react foolishly by doing something to get distracted from his responsibilities or to possibly cost his team a penalty. We're soon about to witness yet more evidence as to how far Dez's maturation has progressed. Let's hope he'll pass the test that's sure to come on Sunday with Finnegan as his opponent.

Really? How can we be sure of that? Its not like this team has never done anything stupid before.

dez is one dude i would think even finnegan knows not to mess with.

finnegan better remember the whipping he took from andre and learn from it....i think he did though.

i'm really proud of dez not breaking hall's jaw on thanksgiving....he showed great restraint that day.

I can see Finnegan trying to trash talk Dez and dez shrugging it off and maybe playing it up a bit to get a penalty.

Trash play from Flowers in the first gif (second gif too actually). They coach you to keep your head on a swivel but its always a punk move to blind side someone when they are out of the play.

Shouldn't the thread be asking if Dez will get ejected.. based on the subject matter?

If Finnegan is known to make attempts to get under his opponents skin, his opponent would be the one most likely to get agitated and blow up.

Because Finnegan has been the ejectee in the past and I think today could be another prime opportunity for him

We can be sure of that because despite whatever you might about our staff, they're not incompetent. I surely didn't say Dez is immune to doing something stupid. What I was trying to get across is that Garrett has already commented about Finnegan's ways publicly. That being the case, you can bet there's an excellent chance Dez has been cautioned about him as well. Not doing so would be totally inept. I don't think that's the case.

How many times has he been ejected? Once in his entire career i believe?

I think his game is to get under his opponents skin, like you said, so if anyone gets ejected, its more likely to be Dez i think.

Judging from the poll results.. i don't think many agree that its a prime oppertunity for him to be tossed out.
