He gets hurt alot. He had a very good year in 2019. If he could have kept that up, he is a solid #2. But you are always looking at him to be shelved a few games, and he is the type of WR that can make up losing athleticism. His game was always stretching the field
I think two things. He isn't back fully from the injury and he's overrated to begin with. He is not a top 2 WR.

Gallup makes some spectacular plays when we need them, but he is otherwise invisible.

Probably the worst contract on the team. Very Jaylon Smith like value

Dominique Foxworth came up with something called the Shanahan-Reid rule, you can apply it to any player. How do you guys think Gallup would look in a Shanahan or Reid offense?

Dak is at fault. He seems like he's personally involved in trying to get Noah better numbers or higher pay. After the second throw Dak made to Brown that was picked six It confirmed it
Yeah but that's on the coach. Why even have Noah Brown on the field?

He looks like a shell of his former self this year. However he is coming off a late season ACL tear. Do you think he can play at his previous level in 2023, or do you think his injuries have caught up to him
Can he get any worse ? LOL
Hopefully another off season to strength his knee will get him back to where he was.

Too bad we can't let someone else find out. Honestly, should have let someone else find out this year. No team over-values it's home grown talent like the Cowboys.

no. MG is what he is and all he ever will be. Ced was better.

it was bizarre when they decided to keep HIM over a healthy wr like Ced.

Dak is forcing things and I dunno why. Is it because we can't run?

I think Dak is pressing. He's heard all the noise about the interceptions. Need more firepower etc. Idk I know Brown should NEVER get more targets than CeeDee.MG.or TY for that matter

If he doesn't improve, there is an out in his contract after next season. You can rest assure, they are going to add another high level receiver in the offseason, either through the draft, trade or fa.

Can’t be worse. Honestly he’s completely overpaid. He and Noah Brown seem the same to me.

I didn't like the fact that they re-signed him. I would have let him walk. Gallup is a solid pro player who can start in a number of places. However, I think he is a 3rd wide out who plays outside while your WR1 can move around into the slot or however to take advantage of match-ups. Gallup can win when he is not focused upon by a defense or the CB1 or CB2.

Much better. I give him a lot of credit for breaking through the psychological challenge of ACL recovery and getting back on the field earlier than should be expected.
