Last week they did so in the 2nd half if my memory serves me right.

I expect Cooper will be doubled often today, i would go deep to Gallup first play of the first drive. If it works the Colts will hesitate to keep sending two in Cooper's direction.

It most likely won't happen but were getting close to playoff time and Garrett needs to take some unexpected risks soon.

Did Peterson also wait until the second half? Come on, that has nothing to do with it. Games take on a life of their own and something things just turn out that way.

I doubt it.

Same old vanilla that makes our playmakers make big plays

Probably script the first 10 or so plays. Dak has many options in any one play, so blaming the HC/OC for every failed play isn't right all the time. And blaming Dak for every play where an OL gets beat or a WR runs a poor route isn't always right.

The playcaller's job is to call plays that maximize the chance for success based upon matchups, down and distance, and skillsets of your players.

There are plays called by Linehan that appear, once executed by the team, to miss the mark on some occasions, but that happens with all teams during the course of a game.

The best teams have a play caller who can call a play that has the highest chance for success a majority of the time, and players that can successfully execute those plays a majority of the time.

Dallas looks like they can be a team like that, but only time will tell.

I think you're expecting too much out of Garrett.

We will do what we always do.

Dominate and somehow keep the game close because the offense stinks and is too predictable.

Dak will miss a wide open Gallup a few times.

Defense will be put in tough positions by the offense all game and hopefully bail them out.

Then flip a coin in the 4th quarter.

IMO this the perfect game to get a fast start. Colt start slow and the more points Dallas can put on them the more the defense can pin their ears back.

I know the first play will be a line plunge.

Since the BYE, 3 have been successful, 3 haven't. But the play is basically the same:

E.Elliott right guard to DAL 19 for 1 yard (N.Bradham).
E.Elliott up the middle to DAL 29 for 4 yards (A.Okafor).
E.Elliott up the middle to DAL 27 for 2 yards (P.Smith; Z.Brown).
E.Elliott right guard to DAL 18 for 6 yards (D.Trufant; D.Riley).
E.Elliott up the middle to DAL 10 for 1 yard (M.Jenkins).
E.Elliott up the middle to DAL 35 for 10 yards (R.Evans; W.Woodyard).

Followed by a broken screen or holding. Followed by a short pass than a punt!

The Colts D is going to do what several teams have done, sit on the outs, comebacks, and stop routes challenging Dak to go long.

That’s predictable! That is a problem. Go play action on 1st down early in the game!!

go for the bomb always - they can't score inside the 20

Garret doesn't call plays. His name is linehan, he controls the offense.
