Last week I was talking about situational football when Prescott threw an INT instead of taking a sack and punting.

This week at the end of the game, again situational mistakes. You pointed the two. Needed to stay inbounds, but went out. And then the terrible sack when he could have easily thrown it away. Those nine yards were the difference between a FG and a TD.

A TD would have sealed the game. Instead Dallas had to kick a FG and sweat out the end.

I don't care about the stats or the numbers or any of this Prescott circle jerk. Prescott has got to be aware of the game situation at all times. If Prescott doesn't improve, down the road he will make a mental mistake that will cost Dallas their season.

Couldn't agree more.. and I know that the fan boys will be out in force and mock me and whatever.. but seriously.. those two decisions by Dak at the end should have cost us the game.. and against a better QB (or with more on the line) then it would have.

Our situational football is really really poor. In particular that decision to run out of bounds.. that one decision is what scares me that Dak will never ever ever be able to get us to a SB ring. That is pure stupidity.. like just dumb. Really really really dumb. There is zero explanation for how stupid that is. It will cost us in big games.

Ints are bad (and his yesterday was bad) but they do happen.. you have to acknowledge that even the best QBs will have them.. but there was NO REASON to go out of bounds.. none.. that was 100% Dak being an idiot. I really don't understand how our fan base, by large, can't see how bad that play was.

You are right.. I literally can't show you an elite QB deciding to 'run out of bounds' when their team is trying to milk the clock. It just doesn't happen because they aren't stupid enough to do it. Just the same as I will not be able to find another QB losing a play off game because they were unable to understand clock management..

Dak is one of a kind.

HIs MO is literally stupid. Do any of us need it pointed out when a QB has a bad game? I am sure we can tell all on our own.

Its a dumb MO for a show. Why would people want to watch him break down horrible QB games every week? If you dont show both sides you lose credibility.

And NO, there are MANY fans on here that never want to see Dak win one.

He does a show that points out the weaknesses of a player or of a play concept and where a play might break down. He does not say-here is why this player sucks. He isn’t even saying that Dak sucks during these sessions. He is breaking down plays. And from the perspective of QB, since that was his position.

The guy is a hall of fame QB with tons of class. He doesn’t do rah rah pieces. But since you have said he does not ever mention good stuff, I suggest you re-watch some of the sessions. He points out a number of great throws by Dak-but the over abundance of plays that he reviews are critical and has you guys thinking he hates said player. There are buckets of shows that spend tons of time pumping up players and their highlights-just watch those very balanced and open minded programs.

Warner could care less if Dallas wins or loses and he's a personal friend of Dak's anyway.

And beating Philly with their backup QB, in Dallas, when were favored pretty heavily to win was not some giant win for our Cowboys.
I'm thrilled that we pulled it out but ...
Win or lose, we are going to be the 5th seed and they are going to win the division.

Oh wow. But when Philly beat us with our backup QB it was a slobberfest on how good they were. Lol. Gotta love our own fans giving credit to Philly of all teams

Either way, I'm just telling you I was not in the camp that was giving Philly huge credit for beating us with our backup QB (and no Gallup or Smith, I think?)
