Will Lamb return punts?

You get his hands on the ball as much as you can.

I mentioned his PR ability skills in another thread.

We are not finished drafting. We could still draft somebody to return kicks and not use Lamb and his scruffy knee.

We shall see.

We'll look at the roster in August and see who is available. But I don't think McCarthy will screw around after seeing last years disaster "special teams" and put the best players out there no matter who they are.

Pollard doesnt return punts. Lamb and cedric wilson are the only current options right now.

Yeah, Lamb is the 3rd WR on this team, if he wins the job he should definitely return punts.

I would prefer pollard take the return duty’s. Lamb will be a damn near every down receiver as the 2/3.

That would be my guess. I still think we may add another WR on Day 3. If not signing a vet wouldnt shock me. We are still lacking a #4 WR. Return ability might be something they look at when filling that spot.

As right now though, Lamb is our option
