If you’re a professional athlete in your early 20’s, adding a pound of muscle a month naturally is well within the realm of realism. He's getting publicly mocked. (IMO) And when you look around at other NFL insider messaging you hear this:
"Arrogance, entitlement. Plus just bizarre." - tweet from NFLDraft Bites.
Saw another tweet comparing him to Johnny Manziel.
That 8 week muscle-build is highly suspic.
He gained 4 lbs in 3 months after getting NFL-level fitness trainers post-college. Most of the prospects in the draft are doing that. Bryce Young gained nearly 10 LBs since the season ended. This isn’t out of ordinary. This time of year they basically work out as their 9 to 5.
Whenever you hear the common reports that an NFL player gained 10 lbs of muscle in a 6 month offseason, is your only reaction “He cheated!” Like with CeeDee Lamb?
