He's smart to be bland. There's no competitive advantage to be gained by being more open. I wish his bosses would follow his lead.

Him saying "they" may want bigger interior players makes me think McClay was part of the foolish braintrust behind the whole we only need 3Tech's mentality.

Like other Cowboy employees, I'm sure he had his opinions issued to him.
