Will Mcfadden Win Heisman???

Tebow can and should win as he's had the best season IMO. McFadden is a better prospect, but winning the Heisman doesn't guarantee success (see Crouch, Weinke, etc.)

Gimmick offense or not, if I have a QB who can pound the ball inside the five yard line for 6, I'll work him too.

That's fair. It's hard not to confuse "best prospect" with "most productive college player."

No other college player has ever ran for 20 TDs and passed for 20 TDs in the same season.......Tebow is the 1st and only.

Tebow even did this with subpar RBs to give the ball to. Also, everyone knew he was gonna have the ball in his hands 90% of the offensive game and still couldn't stop him.

BTW, every offense is a gimmick offense and every defense is a gimmick defense. Some have better gimmicks than others. Some don't work unless you have a certain type of player to fit the scheme. Some are universally successful.

Tebow is the best college player this year hands down. McFadden is the best pro prospect this year, and I would have to say defensively the best prospect is Chris Long. Last year it was obviously Adrian Peterson on offense and Patrick Willis on defense.

I dont watch Tebow and say "wow"

I watch McFadden, even when they play the best teams and say "wow"

McFadden has had back to back sensational years in the best conference (I know Tebow is SEC too) but the difference is I see Mcfadden carrying them to wins even against better teams...I dont see Tebow doing anything other than manning the station...UF has had tons of NFL talent, you cant say the same thing about Arkansas

I'd put my money on Tim Tebow for the Heisman, and Darren McFadden as the best player int he draft. The Heisman doesn't mean the best NFL prospect. It means who has the most gaudy stats from a big program school. That's Tebow.

My vote would be for McFadden (if I had a vote), but the realist in me knows what is more likely to happen.

I don't understand this ,, he got a lot of short runs for TD's argument against TT. Who got them down there to get the short run for the TD? Is a 1 yard TD run less valuable than a 60 yd td run? Tebow should win this award. He has had the best season. he as done something that NO other player has ever done. DMac for all his hype and praise has been inconsistant this year. I think he will be the first RB taken in the draft though but he does not deserve to win this award over TT.... and its not even close.
