Will Mo Claiborne really be ready for camp?

I honestly don't see how he could. I heard an interview of him on nfl.com the other day talking about he's just now getting his flexibility back in his wrist.

Hell, while he was in a cast for 2 months they wouldn't even let him run because of the medical equipment in his wrist. This is an important time as a rookie. This is when you hit the weight room harder than ever before to be ready for training camp.

I reckon Claiborne hasn't done a heavy weighted compound movement in 3 months (bench, squat, dead lift, power clean, etc..) For him to be at 100% in a month is impossible. He weighed in at 188lbs during combine...i wouldn't be surprised if he's 182lbs soaking wet right now.

I think this injury could have a huge negative impact towards his rookie year, which is why we should keep jenkins.

I think he will be fine. He still had his legs to work out while in a cast, that is the most important thing for conditioning. Ride a bike machine for cardio, etc.

By the time camp rolls around, he can do the active stuff cb's do. Only thing he might have to watch is catching balls for a bit. I think by week 1 game he will be almost 100% GTG.

IMO, as long as he learns Rob's system and goes thru light workouts, he can be ready for the first game. He doesn't need to have a 100% healed hand to do that. Were lucky I guess he wasn't a QB, RB or a receiver, then he might not be ready.

Sensabaugh played with a cast, I'm sure Claiborne can play with a better than 75% wrist without one.

Hell be ready. He said already he's coming along just fine and will be there

Either way this is why i hope jenkins play ball! We need him to be all for the team!

This could be why Jenkins is going to be very important piece early on:starspin

He's more ready to play than Jenkins.

He can play in a brace. You don't need your wrist to cover WRs or bat down passes.

There are a lot of things to get stronger he can do than basic compound lifts, it's not like he's starting from average couch potato status.
