The Boston Globe "wouldn't be surprised" if QB coach Josh McDaniels was given the offensive coordinator title in New England next season.
No one held the position this year, although McDaniels reportedly performed most of the duties by the end of the season. The Globe's Mike Reiss also speculated that the Patriots may contact Jim Bates for their defensive coordinator position, a possibility we raised Monday.
