I'll go out on a limb and be the only voice that says....Yes.

I think Suisham will be our kicker next season.

He has a strong leg, and he's a good kicker...he has proven that in recent years. He hit a bad spell at a bad time this year, but you also almost never see a change at kicker late in the season work out for anyone...you spend an entire offseason working on timing, and then you have to switch to a new guy late in the season.

He hit both kicks really well....barely scraping outside on the 49 yarder and left on the 48 yarder. Do you realize how tough a situation that was for a new kicker that our offense put him in that tough a spot twice? Most kickers are lucky to be 50% from those distances...they are not automatic.

Did you see Neil Rackers, a very good kicker for Arizona come up short from 51 yards twice in a row in the dome on Saturday?

I'll bet Suisham wins the job this summer.

We only signed Suisham to a one year deal right? Cause if not we can't replace him anyway.

And yes, if we can, we should.

If we can't find a decent kicker, just use Buehler and save the roster spot. Folk screwed us by waiting until it was too late to have surgery. He didn't have time to get properly rehabbed before the season started. Suisham isn't good enough. This was his tryout and he failed.

I thought Buehler was consitantly shanking his kicks in practice when we thought that he might replace Folk. I hate to say it but we might have to use another draft pick on a kicker.

I don't think Suisham is the answer, but let's not blame him for those field goals today, 48 and 49 aren't given kicks.

This goes to the front office. The guy is what he is. But it goes to show how much thought and effort was put in by them to find someone who could help the team and be at the least efficient from 40 yards and in. They should have gotten rid of Folk way before when they saw he wasn't the same guy but they dragged their feet and when it hit the fan they brought this guy in a knee jerk reaction. Confidence wise the lack of a good kicking game really hurt the Boy's confidence in the long run I think.

I hope they pick Nick Folk back up. I think he will be fine with an offseason.

Nope however I doubt he was going to be back anyway.

Spot on. He was never more than a last resort that could be had cheap and we were familiar with to a degree. Suisham will be unemployed tomorrow (well, figuratively).
