Living outside Tampa, FL, I won't get to see this game unless it's shown on sopcast 8521 like Dolphins game was 2 weeks ago? I believe one of the posters on this website handles this streaming. Just want reassurance I'll be able watch this game and other Cowboy games when they not national games. Would appreciate any info you can provide. Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work.

BTW: Appreciate Cowboysmedia.com . Can't tell you how many times I rerun Cowboy highlights against the Bears and before that against the Dolpins. I also liked the Cowboys poetry land video clips but website hasn't been available this week. Are you no longer using it? Thanks.

My guess is Yes. It's an individual on this site that puts the game out for us. I don't think it's been confirmed yet, but he did it last week also and we were on national TV. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hey guys:

It will be aired this week no problem. :)

Hey Star Gazer, I have been pulling the Bears game and it's quality seems very poor this week compared to the Miami game (very choppy or lots of missing frames) is that a change you made, or am I just having issue with it?

Not sure bro. I never actually watched the re-encoded video files. I'll check my originals if there is a problem, I can reup for ones that are better.

I'll let you know.

MAny Thanks. The game with Miami was choppy the first half, but solid the second half. Thank you again for those of us stuck in Florida and the suckaneers.

Thanks Star gazer......

I'm getting Bears vs Lions:bang2:

Same here, but I expect nothing other then that. My only hope was that the Bears played @ 3 instead of noon.

Just a general techie question about Sopcast etc...What's preventing/limitting the transmission of HD quality video over P2P type interfaces like Sopcast?...If you can see it in HD through your connection at home, why can't it be transmitted via P2P the same way instead of so grainy and choppy?

I suppose bandwidth and the ability to encode that amount of HD data on the fly. To be honest, I think it has more to do with bandwidth.

Ya your right on two accounts NYC. If it's a stream that is being re-streamed and trans-coded, then the issue of; "on the fly" as you put it, would be a factor as well as bandwidth.

If it's simply streaming a video file, then it would be bandwidth. Since the video file is already encoded for the stream. The bit-rate conversion in relation to the max upstream, limits the quality of the video stream.

BTW guys. Since we are on the topic of bandwidth, I just dropped some change on a new host server that allows me a ton of bandwidth for file transfers. In short, that means better quality video and faster downloads. I just could continue using Mega-Upload. Too many restrictions on your end. Now the games can be downloaded much faster with less hassle.

Heres to week four!!!!!!!!! :laugh2:
