Let's just worry about the Saints first before we start trying to reserve tickets for the Super Bowl.

With the lengthy history of that crappy stadium, I doubt it.

But it should be rocking....and if I'm going to suffer through a live Cowboy game this season, that's one I'd like to be at.

Actually, it can quite rowdy (no pun intended). During the last two home games vs. Indy and TB, it got going really good. Every playoff game I've been to, TX STDM has been off the chain.

The loudest I have ever heard Texas Stadium was the '92 home opener against the defending champ Skins.

It was a hornets nest for the skins and the crowd was intimidating as Dallas whipped them and took the torch.

The only other time I can remember was the '95 NFC championship game against the Pack.

I couldn't hardly talk for two days after the NYG game where Romo went in after halftime. It didn't help that I was also coming down with a pretty bad cold that night.

Yeah, I was at the January of 1996 NFC Championship game. Great crowd, waved towels and chanted "Super Bowl!" in the final five minutes of the game as grown men that were Packer fans were misty eyed and had quivering lips all around me.

I live in DC and can't go to the game...but if I could...I wouldn't stop screaming from the moment I get off my car till I get in it again. For those who are going to the game...show us the other fans that you and Texas Stadium could cause a couple of false starts and annoy the offense of the Saints and rally Romo and the boys every time they make a simple throw and catch. LET AMERICA REMEMBER ITS TEAM AGAIN.

Who would want the reputation of Philly? Win with class has always been Dallas' style.

The Commander sunday night game i went to, this year, was much louder than i expected. I think this game has the potential to be loudest of the season.

I don't mean to brag but....

I think I was in attendance to the loudest game ever at Texas Stadium.

The Monday night opener against the Skins.

It was Haley's first game and Irvin just signed his contract in the middle of the week and did not start that game but played.

The skins had won the Super Bowl the year before and I can remember Mark Rypien having to call timeout several times because the crowd was too lound.

Haley ate Jim Lachey's lunch that night. The crowd did not help Lachey's chances either as Haley explosive first step and the crowd noise made it seem like Haley was a step and a half faster than him all night long.

Great game. Harper's one-handed(left hand) catch by the sideline while dragging his feet. Isaac Holt blocking a punt out of the end-zone for a safety. Oh and Kelvin Martin returning a punt for a td.

I didn't get my voice back until 4 or 5 days later.

Hot as heck in that stadium that night as well. 95 degree's and no wind in that stadium...but we were as loud as hell!!!!!!:starspin

But here I brag...;)

Interesting choice of "heck" only to negate it with a quick "hell".:D

I've been to about 13 games and that one always stood out to me.

I just want to stress the point that the crowd at Tx. Stadium can get loud and having been a witness to it first hand...it's awesome to be a part of.

With Romo providing new hope to this team I see this as another upswing for this team like back in the early 90's with the triplets.

Tx stadium crowds have a reputation of being laid back but that is an old rep that does not ring true anymore in my opinion. :)
