Will the Cowboys be wearing their blue jerseys at home?

Looks as if the Cowboys will be wearing their Blue Jerseys during the Thanksgiving Day Game against the Raiders.

According to the NFL (link) this is a legacy game celebrating 50 years of the AFL.

Raiders will be wearing: White (away) jersey features silver numbers outlined in black; silver helmet with original Raiders logo.

My question is why is Oakland celebrating this while they are in Dallas? I guess Dallas gets no say in this. Not a big deal.

Wow...if that happens I believe it would be the first time in the history of the franchise if they wore the blue jerseys. Even if it's a throwback jersey game, the old blues are just a different shade.

I think it's very interesting. Good post.

To tell you the truth, I thought Jerry Jones would have a new complete redesign of the uniform for the opening of his new stadium. I wouldn't have blamed him, but I probably wouldn't have cared for it for a while.

Pretty sure we're just gonna use the same blue throwback jerseys we've worn the last several years.

The "clown suits" are the original team uniform (with a darker shade of blue), so it makes perfect sense for the Cowboys to wear them in Legacy games. Tell me this, when they play KC, it will be a Legacy game. I imagine KC wears their dark jerseys at home. So will Dallas wear the white throwbacks? I don't think they ever have.

Jerry Jones was wise to introduce the Cowboys throwbacks a few years before the anniversary. Dallas fans are already used to them and the jerseys sell quite well. In fact, of all the throwbacks, Dallas fans probably wear them the most.

No, the article says we're gonna wear the boring blue throwbacks in KC, despite the color clash on the field. If they want to impress me, they should consider something like this:

Wow. That is sharp! I love the royal blue jersey and that shade of metallic silver blue looks better than the current pants. What year was that?

You got it bbgun. if I was Jerry for a day, I would go back to the home and away uniforms of the early 70's with the gray/silver pants and the white home and royal blue away jerseys.

Forget the 60's throwback uniforms Jerry! Think about it...there's a reason Tex revised the uniforms in the late 60's. The early era Cowboy uniforms were boring and terrible!

1966, I think. The three stripes on the sleeves and socks are a dead giveaway.

I've been demanding the same thing for years, to no avail. The modern green pants are blasphemous.

So we're both going to wear dark jerseys? Will that be a first?

I think we should break out the white version of the throwbacks... We sold those the first year or two the new throwback came out, and I thought they looked better than the navy blue version.

And you know I agree on the old "cursed" blue. Best looking uni we ever had.

Yep, red vs blue. We did the same thing vs. the Broncos a few years back.

They wore a white throwback in 1994, vs Detroit. Haven't seen it since.

I actually don't mind out current road unis, but I'm sick of the early 60's throwbacks--which aren't even accurate.

how you doing tonight bb?

Not bad. After what happened to Mr. Behm, I'd be a heel if I complained about anything.
