Yup! without Gates they are pretty much lmited to one dimension, and I think that we will have some problems early trying to contain that dimension, but we will adjust and finish strong.

IMO, the Chargers aren't contending for a Super Bowl berth. Parcells has the time, personnel and should be able to 'coach up' this team to execute well-enough and minimize mistakes against San Diego.

-- A defense with a lot of playmakers that can step up and beat you. Depth so we won't give out in the fourth quarter.

I think this is one of the few games this year we'll put the ball in the air more than we run. I think Bledsoe will have a nice game and JJ still runs for 120.

I think we win this one in the 4th when our defense is still fresh from all the depth.

McCardell isn't any younger. They have no real receving threat besides Gates. Tomlinson is gonna have to do too much. I don't doubt that Brees is good, I just want him to prove it to us for a 2nd year. Remember Kordell Stewarts "revival", when he went to the Pro Bowl. he got replaced by Maddox the next year

No. We're too young in some areas and too vulnerable in others.

This is an excellent measuring stick for us. We'll see exactly how far we have to go........or hopefully, we'll see that we're already there.

I think we'll have a hard time this game. We're not there yet.

I think we'll struggle to move the ball. The SD run defense is very good. JJ will not rush for over 70 yards. If Bledsoe has time, he'll complete some passes. I think he'll get sacked 3+ times.....sometimes he'll have time, other times he won't.

I think we'll score 17 points......we'll have a chance for 23, but Cortez will miss two FGs.

Special teams will be the difference. We'll struggle covering KOs and punts.

Our defense will be very inconsistent. LT will have room to run and will gouge us. They will own TOP. LT runs for over 120 and has two TDs. We'll hold Brees and the passing game in check....we may get a couple of sacks, but concerns over LT keep the pass rush in check.
