Im taking the under. I just don’t see what we really improved on from last season besides maybe the WR room. Everything else has either meddled, gotten worse, or gotten slightly better. When you add in how much better the other teams in the East have gotten, I just don’t see us being this “powerhouse” team everyone is seeing for some reason. That said, I see us right around 8/9 wins. There’s a lot of good teams this season I just can’t see us competing with. I hope to be proven wrong though.

That good old NFL Scheduling. 2 of 5 on the road to begin, early bye, 3 of 4 on the road to end

The schedule is very favorable.

• You want the first game on the road: that's when you're the most rested you'll ever be so the travel is no big deal.
• You want the last game on the road: there's a very good chance it's a meaningless game, and why would you want to waste that on a home game?
• The Cowboys don't have to play 3 in a row on the road, even though the NFC has the extra road game this season: some teams do.
• The bye comes right after 2 tough road games, which is pretty good placement. Yes, it would be nice to have it a little later.
• Check out the second Eagles game. The Cowboys come in with 10 days rest. The Eagles come in immediately after playing the Chiefs, Bills and 49ers.
• The first Eagles game isn't terrible either: bye week, Rams at home, @PHI

Sure, it's not perfect. That late-season stretch of SEA-PHI-@BUF-@MIA-DET looks rough. And the aforementioned early bye. But this is not by any stretch an unfair schedule.
