Will the Cowboys Maneuver in the Draft?

There will still be alot of really good players after our first round pick through round two. What would it take to acquire another 2nd rounder?? Our Third Plus. With Miami having 3 first rounders as well as pick #39 and Indianapolis having picks #34 and #44, (they have no first rounder) I see them as potential trade partners.
Then Dallas can take BPA with #17 and have Two seconds for needs like cornerback, wide receiver, etc.

the way i see it is Chaisson and Henderson will be long gone by 17.there is a slight chance a Tackle like Thomas will be available at 17,in that case we need to trade down and get a extra 3rd rd pick.Cesar Ruiz will look a lot better pick if we can swing a trade down.

I think all their first round targets will be picked clean by time 17 rolls around.
I can see a trade down as the most likely scenario.

Besides the Frederick trade, how many good draft trades in the last 15 years can you think of that the Cowboys have made? Moving up to get Lawrence in the 2nd is the only other one I can think of. 7 rounds, 15 years. Can you name any other good trades?

Most of the players on our radar are fringe 1st rounders.

I’d be fine trading down and adding a 3rd.

unless Chaisson,Henderson or one of the big 3 WRs are there....and considering the chatter about Ruiz,Murray and Diggs...certainly looks like moving back is the direction.

Yep. I've been saying this for a long time.

You never know what will happen though. Maybe someone jumps up for Love and that shoves everybody down one pick.

Having 3 picks on day 2 looks pretty appealing to me.
