Jerry is going to wait to see how MG is doing in a few more days then put him on the PUP. If Gallup is rushed back I question his effectiveness...he was limping last week. Let that man get some strength back in his knee...protect the asset.

His injury was of the most serious degree of the ACL.

Modern or miracle medicine, super healer, forget it.

It's not worth it to the team or more importantly himself and the years after his playing days.

Hope he chooses health instead of money.

I doubt he'll be playing in September or even (early) October.

There is no reason at all to put him on PUP now
The deadline is the cut to 53 and unless you are certain he’s gonna miss 4 games there is no hurry

The 5 cut aren’t even a question as to whether they make the team
There is no reason to put him on PUP now
Two or three guys may actually be pushing for a roster spot, the rest are already decided and none of those will be cut till final cut down

Adrian Peterson came back from an ACL tear in 8 and a half months and had a MVP season. This was 10 years ago and you would expect some advances in surgery and rehab since that time. Using AP timeline…we could possibly see Gallup back by week 3 or 4. But I do hope they are smart about it and don’t rush him back too soon.
