Will the Cowboys run with Randle? (no pun intended)

Why? Because he stole underwear and cologne, admitted it was stupid and set up a big charity giveaway?

I don't think he should be let go at this point. But the shoplifting and sketchy happenings with the hotel room recently are enough to warrant a back-up plan. Can we keep him? Sure. Can he be our number 1 RB and carry the load? Possibly and he should be allowed to compete. Do we put all (or most of) our eggs in that basket? NOPE.

So It sounds as if you would rather wash your hands of him at this stage? I'm pretty certain that's what Brainpaint is interested in doing.

I have my doubts about him as well. I just think I need to see more of him to know for certain. Which is why I think we need to pick up a solid RB in FA and see how it plays out. Unfortunately I think Murray and Peterson are going to be too expensive. I hope I'm wrong about that but it seems to be where it's headed.

I'm not necessarily in favor of releasing Randle. I'll let the Cowboys deal with that and likely won't be too upset whatever they decide to do. I just don't think he's about to come anywhere near what Murray had to offer last year. I also have grave doubts that either Murray or AP are destined to be Cowboys next season.

Drafting another RB seems a probable expectation for the upcoming draft. Other than that a vet FA RB might do just fine. The options will be plentiful. Our offensive line shows promise of making many a capable RB look like world-class studs. Time will tell about that.
