Two years ago in the playoffs against the 49ers here in Arlington, we had a drive end when our receiver was blinded at midfield because he was looking directly at the sun. We ended up losing because we ran out of time but that drive might have been the difference in the game. So, is Jerry gonna close the curtains Sunday afternoon since the sun will be a factor in the first half? And don't quote the idiot excuse it affects both teams.

Remember how Jerry insisted on building the nation's only sports arena that faces east west lol?

If Jerry really wants to win, the curtains will be closed. Let's hope we don't lose the game on a play where our players can't locate the ball due to the sun.

Either way, this is our best chance to reach the conf championship in almost 30 years so let's go Pokes!!
Close the curtains right after we win

maybe Kansas City ought to put a roof on there so they don't have to play in -30° wind chill I mean I guess that's not gonna affect the players at all how about all the times we played in the mud at Candlestick park or play where there's massive winds that's affecting the game and the ball or very cold ice and snow yet three times since 2009 we can remember possibly those windows being an issue in a game which everyone knows is there but if you check the weather report supposed to be pretty cloudy possibly some precipitation and this game starts at 3:30 which the sun starts heading downward by 5:30 it's gone so how is it what it might be twice shining through if there's sun../. Is that what the lesson needs to be learned we're gonna blame turf we're gonna blame windows but we're not gonna blame the players for having 14 penalties or the defense can't stop the run or the bad play calling or dropped interceptions I mean I don't know drop footballs fumbles missed field goals yeah these are all things that have happened in the last three playoff losses... But hey Jerry should learn to put up windows but they haven't been have curtains on those windows since 2009 and we can only remember maybe three times it affected a play or a player which happens outdoors or in other stadiums all the time you remember people complaining that the punts were gonna hit the big screen in the center of the field how many times have it happened maybe twice three times and people were purposely trying to hit it and hardly ever managed to do so so all the complaints could be checked at the door because whatever happens on the field the windows aren't gonna affect a win or a loss....

What curtains? As far as I know, there never has been curtains on those windows.
Watch a replay of the SF playoff game from 2 years ago. There are curtains. You dont have to believe me but it's true.

Imagine the NFL's dismay when snow overtakes Buffalo, Syberian temperatures set in upon Kansas City, and a few rays of sunlight take aim in Dallas.

hey just trying to bring in some perspective you know use some context when someone's complaining about a glare that might happen three times a year more than likely didn't even check the weather report because it probably doesn't apply here...

I'm just saying there are far worse conditions in this year's playoffs then what we're gonna see by a little bit of glare coming through a glass that might affect one player or two and again I don't see what the point is if you didn't check the weather report I don't think we're gonna have much sun at all...

I just found it rather odd that they I come back from work and there's a post about curtains of all things worried about the curtains..LOL

So what was your point? You spoke directly about this game as did I. Just another stupid bash Jerry thread, that's your point, right?
As soon as I saw the topic up in the top of the page that's the first thing to come to mind a troll Jerry post... Just something very odd to worry about is some curtains going into a playoff game which coincidentally looks like it's probably gonna be overcast possible precipitation I don't think we're gonna have much in the way of sun,.. Even so like I reiterated about 14 times I don't think it's been an issue more than three times since 2009 it's about as dangerous as the punt hitting the scoreboard issues that everyone thought we were gonna have when we moved in every stadium has its weird an odd either weather or things about it that make it home field I think the Cowboys know it's a possibility and other teams should be know about it and I just don't think it's a big deal....

That said after this post might have jinxed us someone's going to get some glare and it's probably going to be CD lamb dropping game-winning test down LOL JK

I remember when the sun got in Patrick Craytons eyes and he dropped an easy TD. No doubt in my mind we win that game otherwise. Then the Giants don't sniff the superbowl. One of the hardest loses of life.
